This is a perfect hotel for party lovers who don't plan to sleep. You can hear the music from the parties outside inside the room. The party music lasted like until 2-3 am. The WiFi signal is rather weak, just barely enough for text messaging. Location is perfect for those who enjoy hiking and walking up and down slopes. It's not the hotel's fault, but don't trust google map saying that it only takes 15 minutes to go to the train station. It takes longer if you are not used to hiking.

This was our second time staying at Inn on the Mile and it was just as wonderful as our first trip! The room was so well put together and nicely stocked with snacks and amenities. The location is superb for Edinburgh's Old Town and the staff is so friendly!

Nora who checked us in was lovely and very friendly. The room was nice and liked that it had a couple of arm chairs and a coffee table to sit at. The downside was it did lack space to put cases/ clothes. There is a wardrobe but it is so dark in that corner you need to use the torch on your phone to see in. There are also no shelves - just hanging space. There wasn’t a fridge but they did have a coffee machine but it alternated between a thimbleful hot shot or a mouthful of lukewarm coffee.
