"Antonio Massa Lubrense is like paradise on earth! Beautiful grounds and accommodation. The location is great, nearby several coastal towns but far enough from the tourist-y areas so it’s very peaceful. The staff is also incredibly welcoming and helpful! "Wonderful views. Shuttle to Sorrento was useful. Excellent service and breakfast. Everything was great except my wife couldn’t breathe very well in the room as there was an overwhelming perfume/scent in the bed linens."
"The staff was amazing however the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The hotel did not provide a shuttle and the buses stopped going down to the pier at a certain time. Taxi’s add up really quickly. The taxis overcharge as well due to location. I wish I would have stayed closer to Sorrento."

"Villa Maria’s staff is very friendly, efficient and helpful. Hotel is close to many shops and hotels and a short (but with lots of steps) walk away from the ferry terminal. "

"This was definitely our favourite stay while being in Italy. Service here has been incredible. Room got upgraded. Breakfast included is always a bonus. Location has been so nice. It’s about 100m away from bus stop that takes you into to sorrento town. Which was perfect for us. We booked a 12 person boat tour to almalfi and positano which I highly recommend. Other day we took ferry out of sorrento to Capri. If you have time to do one of each.. do it. During the time we stayed here it was a bit chilly but they have a pool which I’m sure during spring summer and early fall is amazing. This place is definitely 100/10. Thank you for a wonderful stay Melrose! "

"Beautiful historical hotel with stunning views atop the cliffs of Sorrento. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Our suite had an ample twin bed for our daughter in the salon separate from our bedroom. Lush garden area and nice pool area. Staff was excellent. Location is perfect for direct access to shopping and dining in the village. One night we ate dinner at the beach club restaurant at the foot of the cliff below the hotel. Wonderful food and setting. This was our 3rd time in Sorrento and 1st time at this hotel. Would definitely stay here again. "
