A basic stay
I booked 5 rooms for a hen party including the penthouse. We appreciated a couple of free upgrades and a complementary late check out on the penthouse. The space was massive in all the rooms and had everything you could need. The location is great too.
However we did have a few issues. The self check in codes arrived an hour late and only after my friends had visited the office at the sister hotel. The penthouse was very cold and the heating system didn't seem very effective, it also needs a lick of paint in some areas like the ceilings or cleaning the old tape off the windows.
Living rooms dont have curtains and one of them had a flood light outside, so the person in the sofa bed couldnt sleep - the team changed the room on request though. Not sure how this would be handled if it was busier in season.
Even though i'd been given complementary late check out, the team called multiple times and housekeeping came knocking at 11am. I was asked to pay for overstaying, although this was quickly settled once i sent evidence of correspondence. The late check out requested a payment for some of the rooms even though this had been paid in advance.
Overall, it was fairly good and issues raised were dealt with quickly, but not worth the money paid.
