「After spending 7.5 hours walking up Mount Whernside, I was looking forward to a hot meal and a comfortable bed; and that's just what I got! Cotton sheets and soft white fluffy towels were appreciated.Pamela was very welcoming and friendly. Only 2* accommodation but that was all that was required, therefore can't fault it; achieving my Mountain walk was my main aim! 💪excellent coffee in the morning! ☕😁 xx」

「A fantastic warm welcome. Beautiful room with everything we needed. The care put into the room was evident in all the personal details that ensured a comfortable stay. Bed soft and linen gorgeous. Horsey paintings added to the ambience as racehorses trotted by the window! Soothing and relaxing! Breakfast was the best ever in a b n b. Hostess Sharon made us feel like friends. Our dog loved it too!」

「The B&B is in a period property which is in stunning condition,and maintained to a very high standard by Ann and Barry who were exemplary hosts. We will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to our friends with no hesitation.」

「The food in the pub was really good. Homemade, good quality ingredients. Bedroom was good, bedding lovely and clean. The teapot, coffee pot were a great addition to the tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits. Unfortunately the bathroom was in need a good clean, the floor was dirty and the shower was showing evidence of black mould and a general good scrub.」
