「We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family.」

「Staff ..ist class..location excellent..as the hotel is on a slight hill.just take your time walking from the harbour side..if u are struggling to walk asked the owner if u can have a lower floor.nothing is to much for him..very helpful..I would stay again.Note the 22 bus from Paignton stops right outside the hotel..」

「Its high end with great decor and fab spa facilities. Our stay was somewhat spoiled by drunken guests and their friends in the next room making excessive noise and shouting between 12.30-2.30 am, keeping us awake, security was called twice to try and resolve and did offer us a rom change in the middle of the night which was not practical. On speaking to Harry the manager it appears this was not the only case that evening. The hotel should consider introducing a quiet policy after 12 with...

「Lovely building and really helpful owners / staff . Was really clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good . Only a couple of minor things really , the shower head kept dipping down so was a bit of pain when you were shampooing etc . Bit noisy at night time but obviously the very nice owners can’t help that .」

「Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. 「Whilst there are elements of faded grandeur to The Imperial it has done its best to keep up with the times. The common areas of the hotel are simply splendid: the wide staircases, the spacious corridors, the breakfast and dining areas, the bar, and the magnificent views of the coastline and the bay. The hotel benefits from being at the edge of town and is appreciably quieter than the town centre. It was great being able to linger over breakfast. 「建物自体は古いですが、清掃も行き届いておりサービスもとても良かったです。見晴らしの良いテラスカフェがあり、リラックスした時間を過ごさせてもらいました。部屋もとても広く快適でした。レストラン等があるエリアから少し遠いことだけが難点で、お子さん連れとかだと少しきついかもしれませんがレストランも併設されているので、まぁなんとかなるレベルかなと。逆にホテルに滞在する目的だと静かで良いかも。」

「The room was very clean, the welcome was warm, and even though hot food is not allowed in the rooms, we were very pleased with the effort that Tim and Vicky went to to set up for us to have a takeaway dinner in the dining area. The location is great - literally around the corner from Torre Abbey, gardens, and the beach, marina and high street are not too far also.」

「Julia & Jamie were the perfect hosts. Friendly & helpful. The accommodation is really clean and well maintained. Cooked breakfast was always nice and hot with a plentiful supply of fruit, pastries and cereals available. The pool/patio area looks a lovely place to relax and the pool looks really inviting. Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.」

「Went for one night . Really friendly staff and good location . Room was Executive Double. Nice and spacious with chairs sofa and good view . Bed was clean and tidy . Just room was a little dated and worn in places.」
