"The cottage was quaint but very tired looking, the stairs are extremely steep. There was everything we needed, including tea,coffee and milk. There are no lights in the alley to get to the back door or at the back door itself. There was a lot of noise from the pub at the top of the street. "

"My stay was comfortable, but due to regulations, the windows could only open 6 inches. I came on the hottest weekend of the year and the room was 25 degrees at night without a breeze. I have suggested a fan for such nights in the future. This was a lovely stay and Richard is very helpful. I can recomment this B&B to anyone who is looking for a close to the centre/beach holiday in Cromer. I would hope to return again. Thank you Richard."

"A couple of things that we felt should be mentioned for future guests. Parking is very tight, this should have been explained before we arrived late at night to find there was no way we would fit our vehicle in the small space offered, turning space is very limited too. The cottage is near a pub which seems like it is a locals pub who like to sing karaoke loudly Friday-Sunday, this could be heard when inside without any windows open. The cottage was not the cleanest we have stayed in, when opening the door and walking past the living room there was a strong smell of dog which put us off wanting to sit in that room. In the bathroom there were hairs in the shower and dust and a couple of small hairs on top of the cistern, edges of carpet had signs of dust and when my daughter was the first person to walk upstairs she walked right into a cobweb. However, the good thing about this cottage was that it was very cosy and is very central and close to the beach. Communication was a little slow prior to our stay but I expected whilst we stayed that messages would be checked, but when we had an issue upon arrival, as it was late, I expected a reply the next day, but didn't actually receive anything until almost 48 hours later. There is no grass at all in the small bit of garden which was a pain for us as we had to keep walking down the road to some grass so our dog could go to the toilet, may not affect everyone but it would have been useful for us to know. "
