This rental needs better management. The positives are the neighborhood is convenient and apartment is nicely laid out however the negatives far out weight the positives. I would not recommend this rental.Our check in was chaotic we were told to go straight to the unit and we would be supplied check in info, however this did not happen. I then hiked 1mile to the Joivy office because no one responded with accurate information to my online messages (they tried to charge me again) and no one answered the phone. Eventually the Joivy employee was able to give me info in person.Once in the unit we had zero hot water, after a long day of travel this was upsetting. The Joivy contact instructed me on how to reset the breaker- dangerous and unsuccessful. Later someone was sent, however one day later the hot water breaker blew out all of the power. So for the remainder of the 3 night stay we again had no hot water and no kitchen outlets, which included the refrigerator. I called the emergency number but no-one answered and there was no option to leave a message. I also sent emails from the auto bot responds hours later with an unhelpful prompt. I guess it was lucky that it was hot in Lisbon for my cold shower.The apartment is also poorly stocked with no dish soap, paper towels, and only one wine glass.I know there are better units, shame on VRBO for not checking this out better, And shame on Joivy for being a rental management company.
