Central Duplex Apartment with Rooftop in Baixa 107

Excellent and beautiful 2-storey apartment fully renovated, located in a charming area in the city centre of Baixa, Lisbon, with 100 m², furnished with great taste, fully equipped, accommodating up to 5 people.

The apartment is located in a historic building in Baixa Pombalina with a lift, with a spacious living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite), two balconies and a terrace with a view over the old part of Lisbon. It has access to the internet, TV, air conditioning (hot and cold), central heating, towels, bed linen, amenities, hair dryer and iron.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, fridge, microwave, oven, washing/drying machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils.

Professional and sanitised cleaning with certified products, following the latest international hygiene guidelines.

The location is very central, you can walk to any place in the centre of Lisbon or you can take one of the many public transports available in that area to various parts of the city or to the beautiful beaches of the Cascais line or the Costa da Caparica.

If you need help planning your stay, we will be delighted to assist you in organising any services. We are your partner and local guide to create your unique memories and experiences.

We can assist with airport transfers, private tours (Sintra, Fatima, Obidos, big waves in Nazare, Evora or other places), wine tours in Alentejo, Lisbon Tuktuk Tours (to start in 2 hours), unique local experiences (gastronomic tours, wine tastings, Fado, cuisine (pasteis de nata and others), football, surfing or other special activities you would like to do.

Wonderful stay ideally located apartment

Great Location

We had a lovely stay, apt was well equipped. The 2nd bathroom downstairs for the upstair's bedroom is a little inconvenient. But, apt is beautiful, lots of light, and in an incredible location. Close to the ocean, plenty of beautiful plazas, great shopping and fabulous restaurants. Would go back in an instant.

Excellent Hospitality and Great Location

Overall, we had a great experience, and this apartment was ideal for exploring Lisbon during our too-short stay. Everything was as described in the listing, the apartment was well-appointed with lots of thoughtful touches, and the location was perfect to be able to see some of the major sights and get around easily. We also can't say enough about João and his exceedingly warm welcome; he went above and beyond helping us get settled and providing lots of local tips. Communication was great overall and the manager(s) were very accommodating.A few quick notes: 1.) We had a little trouble with the shower, as the temperature changed unexpectedly from freezing to boiling and back and didn't seem to be able to be regulated easily; 2.) The loft bedroom was great for the younger members of our group but may not be suited for those with more limited mobility, as the staircase is steep and narrow;3.) The beds are pretty firm and we did not sleep very well compared to other stops on our trip, and;4.) Those traveling with small children and/or who are concerned about such things may want to know that the upstairs loft has some nude art.

Phenomenal stay

Luis our host was amazing and went above and beyond, booking amazing activities and assisting in transfers at the end of our stay. Location is ideal, and very walkable, which was important as I was traveling with my Mom. Extra touches in the apartment like a bottle of wine, water, and fresh Pastel de Nata brought by Luis made out experience above and beyone. Highly recommend and look forward to returning again soon!

Four nights in Lisbon

Gorgeous views in Baixa

In the heart of flat walkable Baixa, with easy access to the Alfama and Bairro Alto, this 5th floor flat is a 2-level beauty with elevator. Main floor bedroom has an ensuite so offers total privacy. Loft upstairs has huge bedroom with views of the Santa Justa Elevador, the Carmo Convent and from the small balcony of the Castelo de Sao Jorge. Well-equipped, modern amenities but old world charm (wood floors, iron balcony). Simply wonderful.

Very Nice Place

We had a great stay in this apartment and recommend, but it does have a few quirks to be aware of. Positive: The location is great. Amazing. It is very central, but quiet because it is high up, but it has an elevator to get high up. It is modern and clean. The view from the upper floor facing to the rear of the building is spectacular. The AC is great. Smooth remote check-in process. Responsive host. Soap, shampoo, washing detergent, etc. all provided. Spacious living room and dining room. Good sized bedrooms. Lots of windows. Good closets in the main bedroom. Other: The bathroom attached to the lower bedroom is TINY. Only enough room for a single person. NO counter space. Not even for a bar of soap or a contact lens case. The other bathroom is much larger but it is on the main floor while the other bedroom is upstairs, so if you need a bathroom (for example, in the middle of the night), you need to go down a flight of stairs. Not for the elderly!). Elevator is small but gets the job done. Washing machine is not very good at drying. A few ants in the kitchen but just a few. Wish it had a nightlight. Upon departure, we communicated with host that we would be out by 11 (the checkout time) and wanted to leave closer to 10 but would let the host know when we left. We packed and went out for coffee at 10 and when we returned around 10:15, cleaners were in the apartment already cleaning. This was not a big deal but should not have happened.

I love Lisbon

This property is very comfortable. It is clean. It is air-conditioned. It is in the old part of town and within walking distance of many of the cities attractions. There are good nearby restaurants and cafes with beautiful traditional Portuguese pastries. It has known less than three balconies so that you can enjoy the streetscape and the panorama of old Lisbon.

Everything met or exceeded expectations. Our host, Luis, was perfectly responsive on WhatsApp, and provided great guidance regarding restaurants and other places of interest. Walked everywhere, and shops and restaurants in a lively neighborhood.

Terrific apartment, perfect location

This was the perfect place to stay in Lisbon, as we wanted to be in Baixa but not subject to crowds and noise [it helped that we were there in January, but even in busier times, this street is just a little off the busiest parts]. The apartment is what we expected from the pix [this isn't always the case] and the elevator makes the 5th floor easily accessible -- quieter and with views over the city. One particularly notable feature is the small restaurant right across the street [it's on the ground floor of a hotel] that serves a terrific breakfast which we had access to through an arrangement with the rental company. This restaurant is also a wonderful choice for dinner [especially on rainy days] - we ate there several times [we were there for 2 weeks] and everything was excellent + friendly service. Also worth noting two terrific Indian restaurants within a block of the apt -- but, then, it's hard to find a bad meal in [at least this part of] Lisbon. As we were there in January we couldn't tell how the apt would feel in hot weather, but it certainly was comfortable in chilly winter weather. If you enjoy walking around cities, this is an ideal location for exploring "old" Lisbon, close to so many neighborhoods and attractions.

This apartment was in a great neighborhood, a perfect central location for exploring the historic areas of the city on foot. There are many restaurants, a couple of mini-markets and a full grocery store within a few blocks. The apartment was very clean and included all of the necessities to make our stay comfortable. We didn't mind the stairs to the 5th level, and the elevator is a nice benefit with luggage and after a full day/night of sightseeing. The management staff was quick to respond to our questions, especially Monica. We had an issue with the washer/dryer, and she stopped by to fix it and re-explain the operation. She also provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and excursions. Our only advice to improve the accommodations might be to include a few written instructions (appliances, shower, A/C, etc) and the information for their guided tours, rather than try to fully explain it at check-in. Check-in was a 30-40 minute process, very informative, but challenging to retain it all after a day+ of travel. We would definitely stay in this unit and/or other properties that Martin offers when we return to Lisbon.
