The place was really awesome! The only thing I didn’t like was the people staying above me had a deck that they could look right down on us while we were in the back yard or tub. Other than that, super cool spot! Was really stoked when we realized the beds were king size and not queen size( as labeled in the description). Great place all in all. Very friendly staff at the check in counter as well 😎👍

The property itself is great. The reason for my bad review is due to Dave from Starfish Manor. While my wife and I were in the hot tub, Dave invaded our space by aggressively screaming and waving his arms around saying that my dog is not a service dog. He came up to my wife while she didn’t have her clothes on, and he came 4 feet away from her without a mask screaming in her face. The strange part about this interaction is that I never said he is a service dog. I told the agent at the counter that he is an ESA dog, and Dave kept yelling about him not being a service dog. This could have been handled in a professional manner, but Dave was furious and animated, without a mask during the pandemic. He then proceeded to charge me $250 without my consent, and the front desk would not reverse the charge despite me showing them paperwork from a clinical psychologist, stating that my dog is an ESA. Dave scared my wife with his aggression and ruined the rest of our morning and afternoon that would have been peaceful without his invasive behavior and aggression. This will not be the end of the issue, but I believe starfish manor has people that are unprofessional because the lady at night wrote down a note on our file that he is an ESA dog, then they let us stay there, and then I was charged after they made this mistake themselves, but I am supposed to pay for it? This is absolutely ridiculous and shameful. I would not stay here if you do not want drama from the people at Starfish Manor

Checking in was not explain that it was at a hotel and then you had to drive almost a mile to the property. The staff at the hotel was nice. But we had just randomly walked in there because we couldn’t find the house. Then we rented what we thought was a three bedroom house the entire house with a private hot tub as that’s what it shows in the description and in the pictures with wood ceilings fireplace etc. when we got there, the house is split up into sections someone else had the master bedroom rented out and down below was another unit rented out Then when we got to the hot tub we find out it’s shared with the master bedroom suite. Eeeew. During a pandemic private hot tub was important to us. The photos do not match the property, there are about four of the 56 photos that match with the other 52 photos are of different units. Do not believe that it is a three bedroom house that you were renting as we only got two bedrooms and we did not get the entire house. It is also mid remodel, finishes not complete. The house is waterfront and the view was pretty, grounds were well kept. If it had an advertised accurately we would have adjusted our expectations.

Awesome location, and hot tub was clean and great to use! It definitely wasn’t as clean as it could have been. I ended up cleaning when we got there. Coffee spilt on cabinets, not sure when it was last dusted and could use a deep clean bad.

The house is situated between two other hotel properties so it was not as quiet or private as I anticipated. The view was amazing and the private hot tub was very enjoyable. It is outdated, however the property manager told me that they are in the process of completing some updates. Overall not a bad experience, but not my favorite property this company offers.

A whole house overlooking the beach in beautiful Lincoln city Oregon. Lot's of space for families and activities. The hot tub was on the first deck and the second deck was full of benches then a grassy are you could BBQ or whatever. Definitely going back.

The hot tub was great and sitting in the hot tub looking at the beach was amazing! Plenty of towels and complimentary robes also nice. Comfy beds! A little sparse otherwise but everything you need. Easy access to the beach ! I would definitely go back!

The beach front view and the beach access at this property were truly superior. I think the price with all the fees included was too much. For that price, I expected a few more details, such as paper towels in the kitchen and the ice dispenser island wiped out. I would also expect the elevated flower area on the front porch to be planted with something hardy, maybe even ivy, rather than just dirt and a cigarette butt or two. It would also have been nice to have air conditioning, it gets very hot with the sun beating in through the windows.These improvements, along with a working cord on the blind in the master wold have caused me to give a rating of "Excellent".

Great view and location. One of the upper windows needs to be sealed as condensation blocked the view. Beach was lovely, and the sun was great. Awesome local places to eat. Great place to unplug. The hot tub overlooking the ocean was awesome.

We loved the view!!! We loved the hot tub! We loved the privacy. A few things we didn’t like...it had a leaky big window that we kept a towel in. It also had a leak by the door. It had a musty smell . There is no electricity outlet in the bathroom which means I couldn’t dry my hair in there. Plus no mirrors in bedrooms to use to dry my hair.

Ideal beach rental for families

View is amazing and hot tub and beach access were perfect. Staff was great. Kitchen was under supplied with no hand washing items but they said it was due to short staff and we should have called. Very minor honestly, place was an ideal beach rental and we’ll be renting again.

Beach house Lincoln City Oregon

This was an amazing lace to vacation with a family/friends or any way you would like! It was truly breathtaking with the amazing views! Will definitely be going back as soon as possible!! The floors could use an update though because they are wood and it’s noisy when walking around, there are some minor upkeep should be done (ie WD-40 on the door hinges) small stuff like that otherwise just fantastic!!!

The ONLY aspect of our stay that I found a bit troublesome was that check-in time was 4pm & check-out time was 11am w/ no late check-out option (not even one at an additional $)... For couples or families staying for multiple nights, this probably isn't a HUGE problem however, for couples or families just looking for a getaway sleepover or weekend-this time crunch was inconvenient. If it's due to maid service not having enough time to turn the rooms over, perhaps on the busier seasons or dates additional staff could be brought on...it just seems that when the hotel/rental charges in the neighborhood of $250-$300 nightly, and it's in part due to room amenities-obviously guests want to feel as though they were able to "get their money's worth". Suggestion- Check-in of 2pm/ check-out of 12noon!!

The rental house was just awsome. Wonderful view of the beach and ocean. Great open floor plan. Plenty of room for my family to enjoy our stay. Quiet and private. Just a wonderful place to stay. Only problem was being sent to the wrong house. Had to return to find out where my rental was.

Great View

Deck and front room views were great and so was the hot tub. Initially the floor in the kitchen was dirty and there was a must smell throughout. We let the front desk know and they took care of things quickly. Location was great, but on high bank so a little walk to the beach. Kitchen utensils were a bit limited.
