"We always stay at the Lincoln Hotel when visiting Lincoln. Lovely staff, comfy beds, great breakfast. Excellent location for visiting the Bail, cathedral, castle and the Strait. Plenty of local shops and a visit to the Wig and Mitre is a must"

"The most gorgeous boutique hotel, every area was outstanding, clean and beautifully decorated. Lovely helpful and attentive staff. Superb bedroom, white linen , lovely, very comfortable bed. Super huge shower, with white fluffy towels, and Elemis lotions and soaps. Only wish I had, had breakfast included, and been staying longer."

"Difficult to find and very problematic checking in. Digital check in never opened for me. The only way I was able to get into my room was that I was let in by a management person. I didn’t leave for dinner because I was afraid I’d be locked out. I wanted to drop my luggage around noon so I could see the sites without suitcase in tow but since there is no on site staff and no check in until 4 that was not possible. Please come up with a solution for travelers who need to store luggage. "

"The property was great, easy to find and use. Excellent location and excellent facilities. Expedia and Vrbo were poor on their communication. They are advertising this rental for a third party. Whilst this was annoying the property itself was great and for a stay in Lincoln it could not be better. "

"This is a lovely hotel. Great situation opposite the castle, so at the top of the hill! Continental breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese toast. Plenty to choose from. We had a standard room which was spacious and nicely decorated. Large shower room. The plug sockets had been upgraded to include USB and phone charger sockets so you don’t need a plug. Just a few minutes walk to the steep hill and then onto the shopping centre and round to the waterfront. There is plenty of car parking around the hotel but you do need to pay. It was just over £10 for 24 hours, so factor that in if you are on a budget. There is a lovely cafe next to the hotel. A tapas bar, Indian and pub within a stones throw. The Indian restaurant is well worth a trip but book if you can as we had to wait for a table as it’s busy. Will definitely stay here again. Staff were really friendly. Especially the breakfast lady!
