Fantastic hotel with food court downstairs. In a very fun and lively part of Lille which was very walkable with lots of little restaurants around. The staff was warm and super friendly!
Nice place, nice people.
Stayed in a room with the bed on the mezzanine, perhaps not ideal for everyone climbing up and down the narrow stairs, but doable. Pleasant stay.
Very friendly staff, super comfy bed. Love the library of books in the bedroom! It's a very basic hotel room but clean and comfy, all you need as a base to explore. The bar and food court is a fun place that puts on various events throughout the month.
Lovely hotel, with really modern and clean facilities, staff were accommodating and helpful.
Would have been even better if there was tea and coffee facilties in our room.
This is a funky fun hostel type hotel. Rooms have unusual and u comfortable furniture - I think it’s to encourage you to enjoy their neighborhood like lobby with a wine shops various food options and a sense of fun. Definitely would be attractive to younger folks. Typical European room with double bed and enclosed bunks beds.

Very friendly and helpful staff, theres a bar and restaurants within the building so easy to get food and drink if you dont want to go far. Lille is very walkable, however the hotel is within 2 mins walk of a metro station too.
The receptionist gave us a very warm and friendly welcome when we arrived and showed us around the food court area.
As long as you’re okay with a 20 minute walk into the centre of Lille where everything is then this a great hotel to stay in. We found it to be clean and quiet with an array of food options in the food court.

Nice ”hipster” Hotel with foodcourt and nice Bar. In evenings a lot of young people having drinks, which was very nice. Rooms are noise proof, i did not hear any noise. Service and breakfast excellent and friendly. This is good price/quality Hotel.
Clean hotel, amazing rooms (except the ventilation near the bed, a bit noisy), area restaurant is very very nice and a special mention to Alban for his really caring to fix an issue.
Maybe you could improve breakfast options
I think I'll join again JOST
Pros:
- Clean and comfortable room/bad
- There’s a food court in the ground flour with a few restaurants, which is convenient to have
- possible to do check out online (fast and easy)
- quite room in terms of soundproof
Cons (but not deal breakers):
- not super close the metro station (specially if you have a lot of luggage).
- not too close to downtown by walk (20 min)
- there is no fridge in the room
- the room was a little hot and AC couldn’t be changed (there are windows you can open)
Overall:
- it’s a nice hotel/room but if I come back to Lille I will prefer to stay close to downtown if I can find something for the same price.
I cannot say enough good things about the incredible, helpful staff at this property! I arrived for the Olympics and the property was brand new! I stayed for about a week. Rooms were quiet and pristinely clean. They have several different room types to choose from. They kindly gave me the best view of Lille! Having food court is super convenient. But the staff and management went above and beyond! They were there around the clock whatever help I needed they were there. Thank you so much!
We had a very pleasant stay at Jost. The staff were friendly and the food hall had great options to choose from. Breakfast could have been better. If you are not in by 9am, many of the options are already gone and are not being replenished. You have to cook your own eggs and waffles. The room was nice and clean, but no storage/wardrobe in the standard double. It could get quite chilly at the night, the windows are not well insulated and the aircon turns itself off during the night, so we had to get up and turn it on again. The parking is very convenient, but extremely narrow and tight, so a big suv would struggle to navigate through. We drove an Audi Q5 and it was already a bit too snug. The hotel is within walking distance to the central parts of Lille. It took us around 10-15 min to get to the Christmas market. Overall, a nice stay, thank you for having us.
I stayed with my three sons for a week here and it felt so comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome and it was such a fun place and at other times a great place to hang out and play table football. Would defo consider staying here again! ✨
Out of the 3 rooms we had booked, 1 was incredibly noisy due to a late night event on and impacted my friends sleep considerably, another had a leak in the bathroom of unclean looking water which meant she didn't want to shower. The hotel smelt of drains unfortunately in common areas. The late night event was a real disappointment as the noise made a one night stay on a quick trip unpleasant. Surprised events that loud can run that late without better soundproofing.
