"The staff were very accomodating. We were given an upgrade to larger room when our initial room was too small for our family. Was very impressed with their service, location was great and compliments to Biagio in the restaurant. We arrived to breakfast just as they were finishing up, but they were so accomodating and welcomed us all the same. Going the extra mile. Very happy with the service, will definitely be back again. "Pros: If you’re going to the sanctuary of Padre Pio, this hotel has the best location, within a few mins by foot you are there. The bus stop that you take from Foggia Station and back is 2 mins away, so it’s quite a convenient location. The main center is only about 15 mins by foot, and the location “Bar Villa” were you will need to buy your bus tickets to Foggia and Mount Saint Angelo. Btw, Bar Villa has the best gelato and desserts in town. Room is simple and average (IKEA furniture). There is also a lift/elevator in this hotel which is nice when heavy luggage. Cons: Only reason why I did not give them 5 stars is bc the housekeeper left several areas with thick dust okntopnofnthr bedding frame and shelves, and there was a red stain in one of the towels provided. In addition, the AC control wasn’t working, but bc this town of San Giovanni is up on a hill there was a cool breeze at night time in the month of August where I didn’t feel that AC was really necessary compare to other areas in Italy during the summer, if you only opened the window to your room (the window had an iron screening, so it’s safe). Lastly, WiFi is very weak in this hotel, every night it kept cutting in and out, or at times it was temporary unavailable and you had to wait for it to come back, it was so annoying. "
