「Great place to stay but getting there is quite difficult. We were told in advance and so we were aware. Best not to have much luggage as it is 240 down to get to the place. Of course 480 steps every time you leave/return. Would have been nice to have coffee in the apartment. We could not figure out the heating system as it is a pellet type furnace. Great view and total privacy.」

The villa is remote, away from it all. But there are a lot of lovely villages to visit. The road to the house is challenging especially when you travel with a big Mercedes Sprinter, but the longer we stayed the more casual it went. We will have beautiful memories of this holiday. 「We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed and comfortable house that easily accommodated the six of us. Paulo (the owner) could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The local town is a short ten minute walk through the woods where there are options for eating, drinking and shopping. We had an electric car (EV) and were pleased to find charging options within walking distance. Thanks to Paulo and family for facilitating such a lovely two week stay.」

Die Unterkunft selbst war gut und wir konnten uns bequem aufteilen aber man verbringt den Aufenthalt sowieso meistens drausen. Es gibt viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Was mir gefehlt hat waren paar mehr Mülleimer, wir haben im Cottage auf drei Stockwerke nur einen gehabt. Ich würde diese Unterkunft auf jedenfall noch mal...

Perfect stay for people who love hiking and nature. Loretta and Renzo are perfect hosts. But you need your time to come to historic sites and cities.」

Der Pool ist gross und gepflegt. In Castelnuovo di Carfagnana findet man zudem alles, was man braucht. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig. Wir haben in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Haus Rehe und Füchse gesehen. Das heisst gleichzeitig auch: Wer Halligalli sucht ist hier definitiv fehl am Platz. Ein Auto ist unseres Erachtens...

Het prachtige uitzicht, het perfect onderhouden huis, het warme welkom door Sandra en Aldo, het zwembad dat we de hele week helemaal voor onszelf hadden en de nabijheid van een charmant Italiaans stadje maakten dit voor ons de ideale vakantieplek.」

「As all the other reviews have mentioned, the property is located on a hillside with spectacular views. Our room was for 3 people and the only view from the room was through the wooden blinds over a window. 」
