「I work a lot in the area and Palmers Ale House is my only choice when it comes to finding somewhere to stay. The food is fabulous, lovely staff and a good selection beers and wines to choose from!」
「Clean room, looks newly refurbished, comfortable bed, air con was fantastic during a heatwave. Friendly staff, quick check in, good breakfast. Best hotel room out of a few I've tried in this area. Despite being above a pub was very quiet.」
「Friendly, helpful staff. On arrival at check in, the hotel receptionist saw I was limping and said he would change our room to a ground floor one. Also, we said we are gluten intolerant and he said he would let chef know- chef coincidentally appeared in the hallway on the way to our room and said what a great choice there will be for breakfast! Very welcoming and accommodating here! 」

Lounge area with TV and kitchen area with kettle and toaster. Plus fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge.
Small dining table and chairs. No cooking facilities but great if you want a takeaway.」
「We arrived on a Wednesday evening had a shower. The room was spotless , then had dinner which was a Pie and a pint. Lovely dinner.
The staff were excellent, very friendly.」
