Chalet Nyumbani
“Has to be seen to be believed and you’ll be back without a doubt”
“Nyumbani” meaning “lovely home” in Swahili has been designed to create unforgettable holidays by combining a cosy atmosphere with premium amenities and an exceptional location. Set off on foot for a hike on the snow-covered slopes and come home to enjoy a sauna and hot tub session and a relaxing rest in the 100m2 sunroom. Authentic materials (stone and wood), top quality finishings, superbly equipped, spacious rooms. All-day sunshine from East, South and West, in a tranquil location. Categorised 5*. Sleeps maximum 11 persons (ideally 8 adults, 3 children/teenagers).
DESCRIPTION :
Ground floor :
– Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and wall-mounted drying rails
– Sauna with wet room and guest WC.
– 1 en suite double bedroom (160cmx200cm bed) with TV, wardrobes, wet room, double basin, WC, and heated towel rail.
– on the terrace: West-facing semi-sunken hot tub in front of the chalet.
First floor: Over 80m² floor space arranged around a central staircase linking all three levels
– Entrance hall with guest WC and cloakroom area.
– Living area with sofa next to open plan kitchen with central island
– Snug area with fireplace.
– Dining area with vaulted ceiling opening onto the West-facing balcony with large balcony doors and a view to Mont Chery.
–An enormous East and South-facing terrace with outdoor furniture, barbecue, Sonos speakers, leading onto the chalet’s wraparound South and West-facing balcony.
Second floor :
– Two double bedrooms (160cmx200cm beds) equipped with TV, wardrobes, wet room, WC, basin, and towel rail.
– One double bedroom with TV, wardrobes, and a 160cmx200cm bed.
– One kids’ dormitory with 3 single beds (90cmx190cm). The elevated bed is not authorised.
– One shared bathroom for the last two aforementioned bedrooms with bath and basin.
FACILITIES : Underfloor heating (air source heat pump), fireplace with opening insert, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, microwave, wine cellar, filter coffee machine, Nespresso machine, hairdryer, toaster, kettle, food mixer, raclette and fondue machines, TV, Wi-Fi, baby chair and baby cot, Sonos in every room including the bedrooms and terrace.
ANNEXES : In the shared areas of both chalets : 3 garage spaces (1 double garage with 2 private electrical charging points + 1 single garage). A ski room with boot dryer which serves as a bike store in the summer.
