「War eine Nacht im Hotel. Es war alles in Ordnung」

「The room was clean, but there was no AC, so had to sleep with open windows even in September. Wouldn't recommend to stay here during hot summer. For a 4-star hotel breakfast was extremely underwhelming. And today my colleague even spat out his egg as it was not fresh. Could be a great place, just not at 4star yet, would put a solid 3 star」

「Staff very friendly and accommodating. We knew AC was not an option. Would have been amazing, since it’s summer.」

「Very close to a Netto Supermarket right next door. Room was spacious with large beds. Our family of four was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant next door, part of the property, was accommodating even though we did not make reservations in advance. Would definitely stay here again.」

「Im Bad sind Schimmel Spuren vorhanden. Sehr altes Hotel, sehr hellhörig, kein Aufzug. Kleiner Parkplatz.」

「Convenient to get to Merode. Unfortunately we stayed the night there was a large group also staying and there was a lot of noise. We were also mostly unable to use the kitchen because the group that was staying kind of took it over. Parking and access was a bit tricky, as another guest had parked in two spots, so we had to find a place a few blocks away. The keypad for the door was a bit sensitive. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.」

「Es hat uns sehr gefallen. Üppiges Frühstück und ein sehr freundlicher Hotelchef. Gerne wieder!」

「Staff was Good and room are clean」

「We felt deceived that the building we were lodged in was not the one shown online. The automatic checking machine malfunctioned but there was no notice about it. Had to walk 500 metres to the related motel to obtain key cards to the room. Only amenity was a tv and shower gel. A kettle to boil water would be useful. Only a dozen parking spaces available. No restaurants or cafes within walking distance except McDonald’s. Bus to Aachen directly across the road」

「Hotel entrance wad closed and I had to make a phone call. Making phone call with overseas cell phone is not cheap.」
