「Great place to stay for a few days rest and relaxation. The location is great for walks, dog walks, beach walks or just having a few days in a quiet location to chill.
The hotel manager (Caroline) and staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. The bar and restaurant are constantly busy with locals and visitors that makes for a great friendly atmosphere.
The food was exceptional. It is evident that it’s all home cooked and care and attention is given to taste and quality.

「Superb hotel. Perfect location at the edges of Cartmel. Decent sized rooms and a big building for the number of rooms so lots of space. Breakfast was really great - lots of choices including some unusual options (e.g courgette fritters) all cooked beautifully.」

夏休みのピークシーズンでクリーニングサービスなどは臨時のスタッフが多かったのだろうが、訓練がよくい聞き届いていないように感じられた。レストランのスタッフも口の聞き方など横柄（ホスピタリティビジネスの意味を理解していない）。フロント以上のスタッフは問題なし。
朝食はまあまあ、夕食（３コースメニュー、コーヒー・紅茶つき）はお得感がある。メインは実物を見ながら選べるので安心 。町はリゾート地としてきれいにまとまっていて、干潟沿いの、Promenadeからの景色がよい。
Very relaxing lounge. I liked the hotel and therefore extended my stay to 3 nights. A little problem with services: I guess that a lot of temporary help were employed for the peak season, e.g. cleaning...
