"The host was an amazing communicator. They were extremely accommodating. The property was "off the grid," with a kind of vibe with no wifi or television. I have an Apple phone, and my husband has an Android with AT&T as our wireless carrier. He was able to stream music and receive texts. My Apple phone was very hit and miss with reception, so be prepared for that. The living space and kitchen were very adequate, homey, and simply lovely. This was the perfect size for two adults. We stayed in the cabin all weekend for a few reasons (weather, not ideal driving conditions). I would definitely recommend all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. The path/driveway is some gravel and a lot of earth, which can be tricky in the rain and wet conditions. This was the perfect getaway for those looking for responsive and welcoming hosts, rustic and secluded accommodations, and a chance to be still in nature. I would highly recommend and will return! "

"The property was as nice as the photos! Lots of space and super cozy with the fire place. Very clean bathhouse. Only regret is not going when it was a little warmer so we could enjoy the trails. Would totally go again! "

"Talk about getting away from it all and enjoying beautiful scenery along with perfect privacy and sweet seclusion this place is a gem! Fun stay and relaxing at the same time. Comfortable beds a long with all the amenities you will need! The hot tub is perfect and easily accommodates 4-adults. The walk out basement finished game room is a nice touch. On top of all of it the host was extremely friendly and accommodating, although we had no problems he told us to let him know if there were any. Awesome Stay!!!"

"The cabin is very well equipped and tastefully decorated to accommodate brief and longer stays. My wife and I were impressed with the cleanliness and thorough furnishings to ease daily living like cooking and sleeping. Our stay was primarily for riding our UTVs. The cabin is perfectly located to quickly drive to the riding area and then back. Overall, just a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Red River Gorge area regardless of your planned activities. Steve & Dawn"

"We loved the view from the cabin and how clean everything was. Especially the hot tub was one of our most loved features and it was very clean as well. "

"We really enjoyed the stay- we were just there for our anniversary. The cabin was great- we enjoyed the hot tub- it was nice that it was inside. We brought our own kayaks and used them on the little lake there. The only complaint I would have is the stairs inside. We didn’t need to use the upstairs but enjoyed sitting on the balcony up there for morning coffee. The stairs are different widths and tricky to use especially getting down. We read the sign but going down them is a little dangerous both my husband and I slipped even though we used the railings and were going slow and being careful. The property around the cabin was great and we enjoyed the caves and cliffs that were there to explore. The house was clean and had everything we needed also. "
