"Dogs are welcome at this hotel. Our room had a dog smell. Unpleasant. Also while breakfast was well appointed, the food was cold. No lids on food and no warmers. "

"Lovely little cabin! The only strange thing was it has no microwave. I would also suggest putting curtains up in the bathroom as you can see in the windows at night which made showering an exhibition. The hot tub was nice, though it could use a good cleaning and some more water. The place itself was really quiet and otherwise awesome! The bed was comfy and the HVAC worked well hire they had it set up."

"Cozy, clean, had everything needed as long as you don’t mind “kitty-baths.” (Washing up with sink only). Was closer to road than expected, but no problem, and payoff is proximity to restaurant. Red River Gorge is a great place to visit & this was a nice, handy place to stay. "

"The driveway was terrible. There were limited dishes and glasses and no stoppers in the sink.The grill on the front porch was busted as was the chair on the back deck."

"We actually didn’t end up at Spirit Lake due to storm damage at the property. The RRG Getaways team worked to find us a comparable substitute during the dates of our stay and we were so appreciative! Twin Peaks was perfectly clean and everything we needed for a quick hiking trip, as I’m sure Spirit Lake would’ve been. Can’t recommend RRG Getaways more!"

"As others mentioned before, you need front or AWD to drive the final road there. I don't recommend doing it on the dark. But it's worth the drive! Pros: there is a wonderful private waterfall scene from the back porch. The jacuzzi is a nice romantic touch! It's a great cabin to stay at! Plenty of towels and blankets, well stocked kitchen, and good TV & internet service. Hot water within seconds, but bring your own drinking water. You should know beforehand: the falls are not safe for exploring, so don't let kids and pets loose. Also, it's a cabin in the woods, so expect to see and hear critters. Especially some mammals in the walls and on the roof, at night, but thankfully never entering the cabin. The waterfall is a steady trickle, so it could dry up if it hasn't rained in a while. And the spiral stairs are neat, but may be a challenge for larger or older guests.We recommend it and would stay again."
