The Space:

602 West 8th is a single-family Leadville home over a main floor and a finished basement — room to spread out, a hot tub after a ski day, and a fenced yard for the dog.



➔ Main Floor — Open living room with a brick accent wall and sectional, full kitchen, dining area opening to the deck.



➔ Bedrooms — Three queen bedrooms plus a bunk room (queen + twin), sleeping up to 10. One bedroom has a desk.



➔ Bathrooms — Two full baths.



➔ Finished Basement — Second living room with sectionals and a TV.



➔ Outside — Hot tub on a large deck, fenced backyard with a fire pit.

The Neighborhood:

602 West 8th sits in a quiet Leadville neighborhood that backs onto the Mineral Belt Trail — a 11.6-mile paved loop for biking, running, and Nordic skiing straight from the backyard. Main Street is a 10-minute walk.



From the door:

- Ski Cooper (15 min) and Copper Mountain (25 min) for lift days; Vail about 47 min

- Turquoise Lake (12 min) for paddling, fishing, and shoreline sunsets

- Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive trailheads (about 26 min) — Colorado's two highest peaks

- Downtown restaurants, coffee, museums, and shops a 10-minute stroll up the hill



Getting Around:

Bring a car — it's the easiest way to reach the resorts and trailheads, and you have free on-site parking. The Mineral Belt Trail is at your back door for car-free days, and Main Street is a 10-minute walk. In winter the free Lake County shuttle connects to Copper Mountain.

No A/C. Elevation is 10,152 ft — hydrate on day one; altitude sickness is real and not refundable.



This is an older Leadville home in the mountains — the occasional critter is part of the deal, so keep doors closed. After heavy snow, watch for snow-removal signs on parking.
