"What a lovely experience, the interior of this property is very visually appealing, the room was lovely and there was just the right amount of nostalgia and elegance. We did not have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant but the bar and view was beautiful! I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to get married there!"

"Absolutely beautiful view inside and outside with comfy furniture and lots of household supplies provided for the stay also. While the place is an amazing stay the area itself is a bit far from things to do other than that would recommend it."

"The property was beautiful and immaculate. Great location near the St. Lawrence and very, very peaceful. Locals are super friendly. Host was responsive and accommodating. No complaints about the property itself. Fair warning for any families looking for things to do: you better bring (or rent) a boat! Otherwise you should think of this as a retreat where you simply go to wind down and relax. NOTE: this property did have 2 life jackets. When we first booked the place, the description said there weren't any. This chalet woukd have been even better if there were enough kayaks for each guest, so we can go on adventures as a family. Overall, though, it was a great place about 1.5 hours from Montreal, which was heavily dependent on traffic."
