"Everything perfect except for the fact that reception is only open morning and late afternoon. Great ski locker downstairs, pool, sauna, laundry, cleanness, spacious room, location pretty close to gondolas and not far from supermarket(s) so all in all worth for the price I paid via Expedia (around 600 euros per week...direct prices are higher). "Very cosy chalet and great communication with owner. All amenities included, even salt, sugar and other small necessities to cook. Only small drawback maybe when coming without a car is the location requiring to take a free shuttle to get to the telecabine going up to the pistes. Just requires a bit of organization. "

"We had a lovely appartment to ourselves that was comfortable and had all the facilities we required. The location is excellent. It’s a few steps away from the main square where there are lots of bars, a supermarket and a tourist information office. It is in a really quiet back street. We were able to sit in the garden and enjoy watching the birds. The top-end of Le Valeen cablecar is 10 minutes walk away. It takes you down to Le Fayet for 2.50. Alternatively if you want to walk through the park, you can take the Ascenseur (free) down to it and through the park to the station. Our hosts are very friendly and helpful. They helped us understand the the local area, it’s history, and how to get about. We did several walks in the area mostly by taking the train to Viaduc St Marie or Chamonix. There’s also a free bus to nearby villages which we used to get to the start of our walk."
