「1st trip to the big island, celebrating our wedding anniversary and recent retirement. Spent the 1st 4 day on west side (Kono area) and the last 4 days on the east side (Hilo area). Have to say we really enjoyed our time in Hilo and up the north coast - simply beautiful. The Cozy Retreat Guest House was a good home base for our site seeing trips and offered a comfortable place to wind down and relax at the end of the day. Location wise, we were further from downtown Hilo then we'd like, so...

「The location of the house is amazing and it comes equipped with everything you could want to enjoy the ocean. There's plenty of space for a larger group and we loved having morning coffee on the front porch then wandering over to the ocean to swim with the sea turtles who were present every morning.
