"Staff was really attentive very helpful with picking places to go visit. Super friendly. Room was is almost 110% minus the little faint smell of wetness. That’s just being picky. Enjoy the free breakfast with waffles. Muffins bagels love the Nutella and peanut butter option with a strawberry cream cheese. Amazing overall a great place very happy with my choices from my family on a great journey and vacation."

"We stayed for a couple of nights and reached out to the host ahead of time to confirm that we would have two lamps and that we would remain in the same tent. She informed us that only one lamp is provided per tent. However, when we returned on the second day, the lamp was no longer working. Additionally, the showers did not provide much hot water, which was especially uncomfortable given the cold weather. The bathrooms were also a bit inconvenient, requiring a walk from the tent."

"We only spent 1 night here before going to Yellowstone. We woke up to no water in the hotel. So no toilets, showers or faucets worked. There was a note on the door telling us the water was out & to talk to the front desk for any concerns. The access was disabled by them, I’m sure they didn’t want to talk to anyone & the front door was locked. We had planned on breakfast here, but with no water, that wasn’t possible. We want a refund for the 2 rooms I booked. I sent an email to the hotel through Expedia & no response."

Starlight Retreat Yellowstone

"We recently stayed at Starlight Retreat and had a mixed but memorable experience. The tent itself was super cute and offered a fun glamping atmosphere. We did notice a few patched areas on the tent, but nothing that took away from the charm. One issue was that the power generator wasn't working during our stay, which meant we had no lamp and no way to charge devices or plug anything in. Since we visited in May, the nights were also quite cold, and that made the experience a bit challenging. I think this type of stay is probably better suited for adventurous travelers. Our group included my elderly parents (mid 60s), my aunt (mid 70s), and my 6-year-old child, so the lack of power and colder temperatures were harder on some members of our group than they might be for others. That said, my kid absolutely loved it and probably had the most fun of anyone there. Overall, it's a unique and charming place with a lot of character. Just be prepared for a more rustic experience, especially if you're traveling with older family members or young children."

"I stayed here with my family on two nights in two different rooms. One the first night, we had no hot water prob because there were too many people showering. Also there was water dripping down on me as I was sitting on the toilet which was really gross. We were on the first floor and we just heard nonstop footsteps for pretty much the whole night bc people had left early to travel and that was how bad the noise cancellation was at this property. On the second night, we were on the second floor so the noises weren’t as bad but couldn’t say the same for the people below us. And this room was significantly smaller than the one on the first night to the point where you can barely walk. The two double beds were diagonally facing each other and you have very little room to walk. The bathroom smelled like poop and we had to keep the window open for the whole night. And on top of that, the microwave and AC had to be in the bathroom bc of how small the room was. With the smell, this setup was honestly pretty bad. Avoid this place if you can, there are other places that are cleaner and more spacious with similar prices"
