「This is a very well located hotel with stylishly furnished rooms and very comfortable beds. The kitchenettes in the rooms are handy - and there is a tesco express across the road. However, the first room we were allocated had an absolutely terrible damp smell. Luckily we were able to reach management via phone (despite it being 10pm) and they gave us a different room, which smelt fresh. 「This was an excellent property, immaculate in fact, plenty of storage ,everything was spotlessly clean, modern and well maintained. Beautiful bedrooms , comfy beds, loads of storage again . Everything had been well thought out . Good enclosed garden great for our dog . Margaret the owner was very helpful , the property was in an excellent position for visiting the surrounding area and Kirk Hammerton itself was a beautiful village and we only wish we could have stayed longer !」

「Stayed in 1 bed Masham Lodge for a last minute short weekend break. We have stayed here before but in a bigger lodge for 4 people. The site is very nice and peaceful yet on the doorstep for great walks and places to see. Reception staff (Danielle) extremely helpful, pleasant and very knowledgeable of the area offering recommendations on good places to eat. Check out the Freemasons Arms in Nosterfield and Staveley Arms in Staveley, both very close by to the lodge. Food amazing! Head to Ripon...
