「The cabin was very cute and it's in a little circle community of other cabins and campers. The people that live there for extended periods of time are really nice, it's a miner's camp right up the road from Crater of Diamonds. You have to cross the road to get to the restroom center (it's like a lake community bathroom) but the road wasn't all that active that you had to worry about it. 「We really liked this house. It looks small, but there is room for quite a few people. We enjoyed the decorations and the fire pit by the carport. We want to come back with our daughter and her family in the next couple of years. The only thing we didn't like was that is it no handicap accessible. My husband is disabled and had some difficulty with the steps going into the house and the throw rugs on the floor.」

「The property is a ways off the beaten path over a narrow rural road and a gravel road. A bit strange to park underneath the house and climb stairs to the ground floor, but it’s a lovely house with a killer view of the Little Missouri River! Pretty new, very clean and well furnished. Loads of party room both underneath the house and a huge balcony deck. We enjoyed the property and would recommend it.」

「No one in the office. Pushed a ring door bell someone came from across the highway. Just was told key was in the cabin and that it was unlocked. Didn’t see a sole the whole weekend. We were left to find for ourselves. I cleaned the ac filter it was yucky and it worked better. The mattress was awful. Beds need replaced. We did enjoy the stay. It was within yards of the crater. Not sure if I will stay again.」

「Myself and friends went for my birthday- bucket list to dig diamonds. I stayed in cabin #3 and they stayed in #2. I don't require the taj mahal and it worked just fine. It had cold air, a clean nice mini fridge and a microwave (I never used the microwave). 「The cabin was cute and well maintained. Everything worked (A/C, hot water etc.). The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The location is somewhat remote, so keep that in mind. It was a 20 minute drive to anything. Our only real complaint was the bedroom area was small. There was only enough room on the sides of the bed for one of us to get out, so I had to slide down the bed to get out.」

「We loved our stay at Diamonds Old West! Our cabin was great and clean. The kids loved all of the activities on site for them. There are fire pits behind each cabin so bring what you’ll need for s’mores with you including the roasting sticks. They sell firewood on site but you can also bring your own.
