「Looked to be recently renovated, everything looked clean and new. Kitchenette was well stocked. Bedding was comfy. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Definitely would recommend this place.」
「High ceiling for ground level rooms. We usually prefer rooms on higher floors. However, we found the ground level room feels very comfortable due to the high celling. The hotel has both a swimming pool and a hot tub although it was not indicated to have a hot tub. Breakfast and all day coffee are great.」
「On the second floor they had multiple seating areas and grilling areas so families could sit out and have private spaces as needed; there were sitting areas with cozy fires, so it was nice to relax by the fire and watch the sun go down. The foot wash station was a big hit with the kiddo for washing all the sand off the feet before going back to the room, and we also like the convenience of having extra beach towels at the desk if needed. I also liked the convenience of self checkin and checkout....

We had a great time at the Empire Motel! The rooms are newly renovated and spotless, and the owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming. It’s in a great location—just a short walk to the beach, with lots of parking. We loved the pool and BBQ area, perfect for hanging out with family and friends. We’ll definitely be back!」
