Landgoed Hoenderdaell

Overall really impressed. This was a very cheap hotel compared to others, which was perfect for us as we never stay long in room. Room was small and was being decorated but beds were comfy, our own bathroom was great. Location was amazing Stairs were very steep and narrow - but again for us who a fit these were not an issue. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a cheap option Also, staff were amazing

Hotel Alexander was very well located, close to restaurants, supermarkets and main attractions. 15 minutes walking to canals, Rijk museum, Vondel park among others. However, the street is very quiet and far away from noise. The room was good for 4 of us, althought beds could be more comfortable. Due to rain, we found some mosquitos in the room. Overall, great deal. Breakfast was delicious.

Great location, great hotel. The room we had was not cleaned properly. Someone had cooked with oil and the floor was all sticky and gross. After letting management know, they said it would be cleaned. Unfortunately, it was not cleaned. So cleanliness was not good at all. Great breakfast, lots of options. The restaurant says it closes at 11pm and we went at 9:50pm and they said the kitchen was closed and no food could be ordered. So maybe the restaurant has updated hours or knowing when the kitchen closes. Front desk staff were so incredible. Helpful, kind, genuine. Good hotel overall.
