"Amazing break at Rushton Hall; beautiful grounds and enjoyed seeing the pheasants and bunnies. Hotel was great and a brilliant breakfast. "

"Room climate control kept returning to 19 deg C despite attempts to up temperature to 22 deg C. I woke up with a migraine and could not partake of either the spa or buffet breakfast which was included in my stay so cannot comment on these aspects of the hotel facilities."

"The breakfast was great on the whole, although I would’ve liked a wider array of cheeses on offer and cold cuts of meat. It was really pet friendly and I brought my cavapoo so thank you. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially the sales manager and the front reception staff. They were very keen to help. I was really impressed with the location and the grounds which was ideal for doggies and the vintage heritage railway station and classic trains just round the corner at was a wonderful surprising bonus. "

"Hotel room was shocking. Hand prints on the wall and sweat marks where peopls heads have been when laying on ths bed. Dirts was engrained into the carpet. I was considering leaving and looking for another hotel but as i was staying for one night i decided to stay. I will not stay at the rothwell hotel again unfortunately."

"If your idea of bliss is no neighbours, nature, seclusion, wildlife, sunrise and sunsets, walks from the door, this place is a dream. Great for photography. Endless time will be spent just taking in the views. "

"Really nice cottage, well equipped and a lovely welcome box for the people and the dog. Plenty of books and games if you forget to take any. Enclosed garden so our four-legged friend was free to roam."
