"Good stay. Hotel needs some repairs and the rooms would need to be updated. We faced a breakfaste issue since it was a Sunday for us and we did have time to make it before 9:00 AM."

"Service was great. Property needs a refresh. Not like the Hyatt Place hotels we are used too staying at. Dark and room had an ordor. Stayed one night. Pajamas smelled like hotel room when unpacking. Not a great experience. "

"When I arrived, the lobby looked nice.But you could tell the property was very run down. The first room I was sent to had visible bed bugs so I went downstairs and asked for a different room.I was given another room.It wasn't a much better shape, but\nNo visible bed bugs. The rooms had newer flooring in them. Nothing was upgraded. The headboards attached to the wall had been stabbed and scratched all up in both rooms. The first room there was dirt and debris along all of the walls and trim of flooring, the second one was a little bit cleaner on the floor.. We may do because I had already paid for the room and knew it would be a hassle to get a refund. The staff was very nice.I don't blame them for the conditions of the place.There was quite a few people staying there , so they must be used to those conditions. It did look unsafe but I had no problems with any other people in the area. Bads were surprisingly comfortable."

"Air conditioning was the best thing in room.. bathroom was dirty tub was dirty toilet was dirty.. sheets had brown stain funny smell in room… roaches everywhere crawling on wall headboard even when sleeping roaches in bed. So I just woke up and left room"

"If you’re thinking about staying in Lakeland, stay here! It’s close to everything, just a few miles to Joker Merchant Stadium, and Cheddar restaurant is in the same parking lot, it is delicious. We stayed 3 nights and had zero complaints/problems. The hotel is so clean, smells so fresh, rooms were roomy, beds comfortable, and clean, staff were all nice, and complimentary breakfast was delicious-not your normal free hotel breakfast. The pool and workout areas were also very nice. The best part is that when you are in your room it feels like you’re the only ones in the hotel. It’s so quiet. We were close to the elevator, we never heard it, never heard room doors shutting, other toilets flushing, people talking, nothing. We will be back next Spring for Tigers baseball. "

"Be prepared for extremely loud road noise all night. The windows are cheap and thin and block none of the noise from I-4 and Rt98 right outside. Two nights of no sleep. There's better for the money. "
