"The Greenfield Inn is a good 3 star hotel IMO. The walls are not terribly soundproof, so traffic passing by and people in the hallway are easily heard in the room. The hotel itself is a little bit more dated and worn than the online pictures indicate, but it is overall good value for the money. The staff were courteous, hot water was available for showers, and the breakfast bar was good. "

"The first room i was put in was dirty i mean nasty the bed had black stuff smeared all over the blankets n sheets and hair all over the them as well the room had smelled like something was dead in it the air conditioner had black mold all over the vents and bugs as well the mirrors was disgusting stuff all over them food stuck to the tables n hair all over them i called down and ask for someone to come up a young lady came up right away and instantly could smell the death smell in the room and senn how nasty it was she apologized and said that was unacceptable and put me in a another room she was very nice and sweet so when i got to the other room it wasnt clean either the bed looked fine and it didnt smell like something dead i will give it that but the tables where nasty stuck food and drink crumbs all over the counter top and the mirrors was nasty as well i also have pics of it as well i just clean the room myself becasue there wasnt any other rooms available like the one i paid alot of money for the staff was very nice n sweet but cleanliness is most definitely not there and its really upsetting that i paid alot of money to get put into 2 disgusting and filthy rooms and the sad part is it wasn't just one room. It was 2 So I paid a lot of money for dirty rooms.That, I ended up having to clean on my own. Not happy!!! Do better!!!"

"Our stay was wonderful! The house is immaculate! At the end of the driveway is a petting zoo and market. I hate that we didn’t get to stop in there because we had to be in Owensboro from 9-6ish during this stay. The fudge sample left for us was delicious! We came in at night and the lights were on for us. The house is fabulous with lots of space and lots of seating for large groups. The kitchen was well-equipped with all of the dishes, bowls, and pans you could want. There was an assortment of snacks left for us, waters in the fridge, and even the ingredients for smores to be cooked in the fire pit outside. The owners had stocked all necessary items like paper towels, TP, soap and even shampoos. We had problems getting the door unlocked and they were right there as soon as we messaged them! Owners were great to work with and very responsive! 10/10, would highly recommend and will definitely try to rent again when we return to the Owensboro area! "
