During my 3-night stay there was no turn down or housekeeping service. I had to call down for fresh towels. There was no bell boy to help with my luggage, and to make matters worse, they charged me $20 for parking everyday even though I didn’t request it, nor did I have a car. And there was also a random $38 charge for “refreshments” and when I explained I hadn’t taken anything from the minibar they said it was for using their chargers. That was so random, especially since I did not use any of their charging cords, as I brought my own. It’s also very difficult to get to the Remus side of the hotel with luggage since the floors are all carpet.

AC issues. Room was cold and heat did not work. Called the front desk and a repairman came to room and had to go into the ceiling of the bathroom to fix. He said the heat was off. Room warmed up but got too hot and the thermostat did not seem to control the temp, so turned off unit. Reported the problem at check out, needed to be repaired.

To be fully transparent...we were understanding of the construction going on here, and were warned. However were given a room on the 5th floor (even after I requested on on a higher flooe and was denied) right under the construction for the convention center and were woken up at 6am sunday, monday and the worst was tuesday morning with slamming hammer noises right above us...the first morning I called three times with no answer, and the lines were long when I went to the front desk in person...when my call to the front desk was finally answered on Tuesday morning he offered to waive the resort fees... and told me we should have called earlier and they would have moved us to another room. So, WHY would they put us in that room to begin with knowing construction was right above us? No other compensation was offered, maybe a free night in the future, or a refund of one of the three nights we stayed would have been nice. Then to make it like it was my fault for not notifying them when I TRIED! Very disappointing. We go to Tahoe several times a year and will not be giving them our business ever again.

We arrived shortly after midnight during a storm after a long drive and were given keys to a room that was already occupied by a sleeping guest. Being issued keys to an occupied room is a serious security breach and understandably alarming. We were reassigned to another room where the bedding had visible stains and hair. The following morning I requested a call from a manager regarding both the security issue and the room condition but never received one. When we later spoke with the manager in person, we were told housekeeping would address the bedding immediately. We left the room for two hours and returned to find nothing had been done. We requested another room, which unfortunately smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and required yet another relocation. In less than 24 hours we experienced multiple room assignments due to a security lapse, unsanitary bedding, lack of follow-through on promised service, and smoke odor in the final room. I am sharing this feedback because these issues point to larger operational and safety concerns that should be reviewed.

Overbooked double queen rooms, then didn't offer anything to compensate for their mistake. Manager was rude and condescending when asked how we could make our situation work. He offered no solutions, other than to make my 17 year old athlete to sleep on the floor. Housekeeping didn't refill items requested, and when asked for those items waa told Housekeeping waa busy and i would need to get the items from the front desk. All amenities were under construction and had to walk to another casino to use their amenities yet waa charged a substantial "resort". Would NEVER stay at this hotel again!

Our room had water damage and the whole floor next to the window was all buckled and lifted. That whole window was leaking water from the outside in. There was blue tape holding the seams of the walls together. There was no easy way to get all your things from self parking into the hotel. There was a hidden resort fee that was not included with the price of the room off of Expedia. Parking was also not included. We would not stay there again.

The staff is not friendly. They have no knowledge of anything. Every single time I asked a question it was the wrong answer. One time we almost missed our shuttle because he told us the wrong pick up location! My room was not clean. Broken shards of glass in my bed and on the top of the bed. I cut my foot on a piece. Hair was all over the comforters, sheets, bathroom, and floor. It smelled dirty. The manager was nice and moved us to another room. The hallways smelled stale and of cigarettes. The hallway was so hot, and I am not a hot natured person. Our window was not properly sealed and leaked Our knob in bathroom sink for the hot water was broken and we could hardly turn on or off. Refrigerator did not work. They are now trying to charge me for something on the bar in the room that I did not use. I used the box to prop up my make up mirrror to get ready. So be aware if you take anything off regardless you will be charged. I will dispute this charge with my credit card company! The elevator screens did not work or speak. You had no idea what floor to get off at. Lots of construction and confusion as the employees all had different answers for the same questions! I do NOT recommend this place!!

Upgraded to Jr. suite. Very narrow shower for a hotel much less upgraded room. Bad sharp welds on outside railings where stanchion meets railing. Watch out-sharp enough to cut. Not onsite breakfast dining during the week.

Bad, old, stinky. We paid for a renovated bedroom, we got there, they told us that the bedroom we paid for is bad and asked us to pay for upgrade. The bedroom was still bad and small and very old. The amenities are very basic. The staff is immature and doesn’t know much. And the internet doesn’t work. Won’t recommend.

This was an absolutely horrible and unpleasant stay from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, it was a disaster. The elevators weren’t working, and I had to haul all my luggage from the fifth-floor garage down to the third-floor garage myself. Not exactly the welcome you expect. The hotel feels extremely outdated, and there was loud construction noise that made it impossible to relax. Early in the morning, the cleaning staff was unbelievably loud — literally yelling at each other throughout the hallways and waking everyone up. Completely unprofessional. On top of that, the place felt dead and empty, which made the whole experience even more uncomfortable. I honestly should have stayed across the street at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe. Do not stay here!!!
