White Oak Point | Historic, Lakefront Cabin on Lake Lure

The Lake Lure area is moving forward with a clear path toward renewal and reopening. The Town of Lake Lure has announced an official target date to fully reopen the lake for the 2026 summer season, beginning May 1, 2026, and restoration efforts are actively underway with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers following Hurricane Helene in October 2024. Until then, the magic of Lake Lure extends far beyond the water. Guests continue to enjoy breathtaking mountain views, charming local restaurants, award-winning vineyards, scenic hiking trails, championship golf at Rumbling Bald, and the world-class Tryon Equestrian Center—just 25 minutes away.
