THE DOWNTOWNER....Largest House on Main St. 14 Beds, Sleeps 20

Located on Main Street in downtown Lake Geneva, this former bland office building has undergone a ground up restoration that will sleep 20 with 9 bedrooms (one in the Sunroom) and 7-1/2 bathrooms. Architecturally edgy, contemporary and laugh-out-loud design throughout. Great shared gathering spaces will make the most of your time with friends and family. The interior showcases a mix of industrial design, comfortable furnishings and flea market finds. The large open concept dining area has 16 ft. of dining space, making it easy for a large group to mingle and entertain. The spacious, fully stocked kitchen has 2 refrigerators to accommodate your groceries easily. Sit in comfort on 3 deep leather sofas around the 65 inch HD Flat screen smart TV. Each bedroom has a signature style of it's own, offering the highest level of comfort and privacy. Top of the line mattresses, pillows and luxurious linens throughout. When you are ready to escape the group, each bedroom has a large HD flat screen TV. Six of the nine bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms (the remaining three bedrooms share a bath). Each bathrooms features a rain shower head and one of a kind furnishings. Hair dryers, shampoo and body wash are provided in each.
Enjoy the great outdoors on the two large decks overlooking a wetland preserve and park or party in the private courtyard.
Leave all your worries about driving and parking behind when you stay at The Downtowner. Your favorite restaurants, shopping and everything that magical Lake Geneva has to offer is a short walk away. Disclaimer- Being centrally located to the downtown means that you will hear some traffic noise. There is also a bar/restaurant next door with an outdoor courtyard. If you are looking for total peace and quiet, this may not be the right fit for you. White noise machines provided for your sleeping comfort.

Did a golf trip with friends and this was a great house. Perfect location for after round entertainment. Rooms were ample and outside space was perfect. Would recommend and any groups 8+ adults.

Been to Lake Geneva many times and can't imagine staying anywhere else. The place accommodated our whole group very comfortably.. The location is perfect. I would give this place 10 stars if possible.. Definitely staying there next time we go up there from Chicago!

Bachelorette Party Perfection

The Downtowner couldn't have been more perfect for our group. We loved the outdoor area and the ease of getting around downtown LG. Everyone was pleased with the house and would come back again. Having a bathroom in almost all bedrooms was a major perk and we appreciated there being 2 refrigerators as well.

Great location and home for a large group

We had 16 guys for a golf trip and everyone loved the main living area, patios and bedroom configuration. Tisha was amazing to work with and such a wonderful host! House was fully stocked with everything we needed. Able to walk to the Lake and all downtown restaurants. Would definitely book again in the future!

Big groups

House is perfect for a big group that is looking for common area to spend time together. Having individual rooms with bathrooms makes the perfect balance of privacy and together time.

Prime Location and Beautiful House!

This house was absolutely amazing! I woke up every morning thinking about how beautiful and perfect this house is for a big family/friends gathering. Every detail of the house was well done and accommodated our large group in so many ways. Host was responsive and accommodating. Location was amazing. We were able to walk everywhere! 1-3 blocks from all the bars and restaurants and 1.5 blocks from the lake. Five stars all the way, highly recommend.

What a great stay

I cannot say enough good things about the Downtowner and Tisha. We stayed here for my wedding weekend and had the best time. There is so much outside space and so many bedrooms. I love the funky way this place is decorated. The place was clean and there were plenty of bathrooms. It was so nice to be able to get up and have coffee on the deck in the morning. The location is also perfect!!! Tisha was great to work with. I am just bummed that the weekend was so busy, I did not get a chance to stop by her store in town. I highly recommend!!!!

Time and space for 16 to be together, and separate

We rented this home to gather for Christmas. We wanted to cook together, play games, sit down at one table to enjoy a meal and have good conversations. From the area we wanted to be able to walk as a group or individuals for exercise or just to “get out”. Lake Geneva the town offered this in abundance. Lake Geneva - the lake-offered a beautiful path to take for relaxing, calisthenics, conversation, restorative vistas. We loved our time in The Downtowner and it’s surroundings.

This house was awesome and in the middle of everything. My group was able to walk to all the events. Everyone was very satisfied with the house and the accommodations. The house was so comfortable that my mom and 2 aunts did not leave the house. They stayed in the whole weekend and lounged around. We had a Chef that loved the kitchen. My group have voted to stay here next year. They are already picking their room. Thank you for a great location. I am looking forward to coming back real soon.

Perfect "Business and Pleasure" Retreat Location!

The Downtowner is just that! Within walking distance to the Riveria Dock and all that downtown Lake Geneva has to offer. Our business group of eight adults found the accommodations just what we needed. We did rearrange some furniture (and put it back as found) to accommodate eight laptops. We could have found a "quieter" place at a sterile hotel, but we were well aware of the other comments about noise and location. It was a non-issue for our group. Everyone was delighted with the clean, comfortable, artsy and well appointed Downtowner! 5-star!

Downtown!

The house worked very well for our group of 16. There are several gathering spaces of varying sizes, so we could all be together or could split up into smaller groups. It was nice that we could all sit at one table for meals. The decor is endlessly interesting, and showed that the owner really cares about creating a unique experience. Almost all of the bedrooms have their own full bath. Being downtown may be a bit noisier than being in the country, but it was worth it for the ability to walk to so many things, especially the lake. The view to the park is lovely. Even though it was November, we still enjoyed some time on the outdoor deck. The patio would be really great in the summer!

Family Generations Vaca

Three generations spread out & enjoyed this roomy, eclectically decorated property. We used every one of the bedrooms and decks throughout the week. There were many upsides. The host was so accessible. We enjoyed easy access to shops, restaurants and shops. Families visited beach, played & fished in the nearby stream, and went to a concert in the adjacent park without needing a car. The main floor setup was great for the entire family to spread out, yet see and interact with each other. Downsides included the music from the bar next door being loud a couple of the nights until 2am. Parking was very tight, so the last car in was our go to car for any short trips needed. One thing I strongly recommend is for future guests not to rely on the “washer/dryer.” It’s a combo machine that doesn’t dry. Overall, we had a wonderful time & raved about the location.
