"Clean room & bedding; plenty of towels; good wifi; ice machine on 1st floor; decent elevator; mini-fridge & microwave in-room; strong window AC/heater; friendly staff; large walgreens and small Starbucks across the street; local coffeeshop that closes @ 3pm about 100' from motel; felt safe; plenty of parking. Only 2 beefs are that water pressure is weak and boths cards deactivated BY 730am morning of checkout so it was a bit annoying having to circle to front of motel to enter thru main entrance instead of the side door that put us closest to room. I was overall satisfied with my stay and would stay again."

"We enjoyed this home. It was convenient for Navy graduation and close to a train station to make it easier to get into the base. We also liked the 3 levels giving a few families their own space when need. Things for the kids to do, convenient for stores. Kitchen and bedrooms were great. The host was easy to work with."

"We were disappointed from the moment we walked in. There were cockroaches in the house starting on our very first day and we thought it was just a random one-off… but the infestation got worse, with roaches appearing daily throughout the home. We later found out the owner was already aware of the issue, yet we weren’t told about it prior to our booking, which was really upsetting. Had we known, we would have chosen somewhere else to stay.We spent days trying to kill the roaches ourselves, hoping the problem would stop, but it only escalated. Because it was the holiday season and our first time visiting Illinois, trying to find another place last-minute was extremely stressful, and options were very limited. The home simply wasn’t clean, comfortable, or livable for us to stay in.The condition of the rental when we arrived did not meet basic expectations. Cleanliness and transparency matter, and unfortunately this stay missed the mark on both.We ended up vacating the unit a few days earlier due to this issue. We wouldn’t stay in this rental and hope future guests are given honest communication ahead of time. "
