"Overall Experience: 3.5/5 We had a pleasant stay overall, with some standout moments, but also a few hiccups. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and friendly staff making it a real highlight of our mornings. The quality of the room service was also good, though we did experience a few issues. The selection was somewhat limited, and the meal arrived without the correct plates and cutlery, which was a bit disappointing for the price. The €9 delivery charge for room service felt a bit excessive, and the €5 fee for extra plates seemed unnecessary. The Kids Club was a hit with the children—they had a great time and it gave us some time to relax. Unfortunately, the bad weather meant the kids spent more time indoors, and they logged into the movie entertainment system. Unbeknownst to me, they were able to easily access and run up a bill of several hundred euros. I tried reaching out via email to address the charges, but it turns out the movie service is managed by an external supplier. Despite my efforts, I’ve had limited success in getting a refund, which has been quite frustrating. We didn’t try the hotel’s other restaurant meals, so I can’t comment on those, Overall, while we enjoyed our stay, the lack of support from the third-party entertainment provider, the extra charges for room service, and the small service issues prevent me from giving a higher rate "

"Our stay at the Atlantic Hotel in Lagos was lovely with sea views and very comfortable. The hospitality and staff were a credit to the hotel. Travelling as a coeliac, there was very good understanding by the breakfast staff and by the chef in the evening. Thank you. "

"This is a wonderful little gem of a place right in the very heart of the old town. We "upgraded" to the most expensive room which was still a bargain and were so impressed. The room was large and airy with views of the main square and surrounding streets. It was very clean and well-equipped with 2 sofas, a dining table and huge, soft, comfy bed. The staff was warm and welcoming and even wrote out some of her personal favorite restaurants for us to try out. Even with a bar on the rooftop, the room was quiet and we slept well. Now, all that being said, it is on a main square so you will hear the buskers playing their music and lots of chatter and laughter from the restaurants in the area. It is a bustling part of town but by 10 pm it was very quiet. The location cannot be beat with a 5 minute walk to the beach, lots of local vendors selling their wears. The hotel needs a lick of paint and some fresh flooring in the hallways but I give it 5 stars for value for my money. We spent 2 romantic nights here and loved it."

"Nous avons adoré notre séjour. L'hôtel en soi n'est pas au goût du jour, mais est très propre et nous avons eu accès à tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Pour avoir accès au petit-déjeuner, un petit supplément est à prévoir et il en vaut largement la peine : complet et à volonté. Le personnel a été très gentil, accueillant. Si nous retournons un jour à Lagos, il est clair que nous séjournerons à nouveau à cet hôtel. "
