About this property
Grace's House
In the tranquility of the picturesque Ligurian village of Marola—one of the 13 historic villages of the Gulf of Poets (including the most renowned, Portovenere and Lerici)—you’ll live like 19th-century fishermen, enjoying a breathtaking view of the Gulf. Grace’s home is located in a typical “caruggio” (the name given to the narrow streets in Ligurian villages) closed to traffic. The name “Gulf of Poets” derives primarily from the fact that, over the centuries, many poets, writers, and artists in general have spent time living in the villages of the gulf, captivated by the beauty of this “amphitheater of water.” Among the many artists who loved this place, we recall the writer David Herbert Lawrence, the writer and painter George Sand, the poet Lord Byron, and the writer Percy Bysshe Shelley. The latter had his final residence in the village of San Terenzo, a seaside hamlet in the municipality of Lerici. The fully renovated two-level apartment features a bright and airy living area and a fully equipped kitchen on the first floor, complete with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, sofa, and a 43-inch Full HD TV; on the second floor, there is a double bedroom with a sea view and a bedroom with a twin bed. Bathroom with a window and a shower.
Located in La Spezia, this apartment is on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Vernazza Beach and Monterosso Beach. Traveling with kids? Consider Naval Museum and Enoteca la Civilta del Bere e Altro. Scuba diving and snorkeling offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and rock climbing nearby. Visit our La Spezia travel guide

Dino and Grace's home was a perfect base for our week in La Spezia, so clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Perfect location for the bus into the city or to Portovenere and all the beautiful surrounding villages.
We stayed one night and took the train to Cinque Terre. The train station was pretty close and we were able to park our car in their garage. We loved having a smart tv and the apartment was very comfortable.
Jederzeit wieder!
