Great Home, Check the Location
Overall we enjoyed our stay here. While the house was beautiful and had many updates along with an incredible view, it was not super clean. Not a huge deal, but the floor didn't seem like it had been swept and the counters not wiped down. All the sheets and towels were clean.
Also, before you rent here be sure to double check the location. The map on VRBO shows the location along the coast somewhere in the middle of the island. In reality, it is at the northernmost point of the island. About as far away from the ferry as you can get. Not a dealbreaker but don't think that you are renting a place next to the state park like the map shows. It's about a 20 minute drive from the ferry landing. The nice thing about the location is that it is very secluded.
Also, beware of the deck stairs. One set has caution tape on it but there is a second hidden set of stairs that are available but this was not clear unless you start walking through the woods.
