Villa Sherry by Villa Plus

Ideally located in Corralejo, Villa Sherry is a delightful 4 bedroom villa offering plenty of outside space with a private swimming pool. It's within a short walk of an excellent choice of shops and eateries serving a selection of local and international cuisine. The lively beach, where you can seep your feet in the waters and on the sandy shores, is just over 20 minutes' stroll from the villa. WiFi, pool heating and air conditioning/heating in the bedrooms are included.

Villa Sherry is located in Corralejo and has everything from shops to restaurants within a 10 minute walk from the villa. Another 10 minutes' further afield, you'll find El Campanario Shopping Centre with a traditional feel and plenty of retail shops, a supermarket and inviting restaurants. The popular Waikiki Beach and the resort centre is only 10 minutes' drive away, as well as the Grandes Playas Beach and the spectacular sand dunes. If that isn't enough, the Aqua Waterpark is just 15 minutes' walk from the villa.

Main pool: 6 x 3 mtr, 1.4 - 1.4 mtr depth

Winter getaway

Nice villa with good space. It rained whilst we were here and the patio doors let in water although more towels were dropped off so we could at least mop up. It had quite a bad ant problem in kitchen and living area. No cleaning products supplied at all. Heated pool has the chill taken out by the heater but still cool. Good stay overall. area. area.

Spacious villa away from the town centre

Stayed with my wife and four friends. Great communal indoor and outdoor spaces for sun worshippers as well as those who prefer shade in the midday heat. Location probably better suited to having a car, as the walk into the centre of the old town is about 45 minutes (and to the beautiful sprawling beach near the dunes is about the same), which is a lot in the heat. On the plus side, the nearby Lidl and Mercadona made shopping easy without cars so it just depends how much you want to access Corralejo, as well as your health/mobility. The villa sits in a new development so there was construction in the vicinity generating some noise at points during the week but not a lot. Bathroom layout is a bit odd. There is really 1 main bathroom plus an additional ensuite shower/toilet (the bath visible in the photo here has been covered over). The master bedroom is accessed via the ensuite with no door between the two, which even couples may find a little inconvenient. 6 adult guests could be sharing just a single bath/shower/toilet between them. Maybe fine for a family with kids We raised a few minor maintenance/cleanliness issues after our arrival and VillaPlus who manage the property were responsive and did their best to resolve the issues to varying degrees of success, however in fairness to them I stated nothing was urgent. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Villa Sherry and felt it was good value for the price. If the layout and location works for you then I’d definitely recommend it.
