Our trip to Costa Rica included two days we spent in the La Fortuna area. This house worked great for our purpose. Close to town, but secluded. House was clean and had lots of room for all.

Great location and property

Very clean, safe and a great location to base yourself out of. The hosts were fantastic at communication, and very attentive. The breakfast offered for purchase nearby was reasonably priced, and delicious. Outdoor patio was enjoyed for morning coffee and breakfast, and after dinner wine listening to the sounds of the birds and the river. I would highly recommend this location and property.

Great location!

There was plenty of room for us, the place was very clean, well located to access all the activities we wanted. We were easily able to fix breakfast before going out all day and the beds were comfortable. Really nice to have a washer and dryer that worked amazing! And air conditioning! One couch was broken, so we could not sit in it, but the other couch was great. Great nature watching from all the windows!

Modern facilities with really nice stone counters, security gates, privacy and hot tub. Each room had its own view. One sofa was broken, ants appeared after the first day and washer was broken. We were next to a cow field which was actually nice. The area was off the main road and quiet, in between the La Fortuna downtown and the volcano.

Great location. Easy to access due to clear instructions. Beautiful home and very quiet. Host is very responsive. Truly appreciated that! Menus are left on the counter for location recommendations. The only con I have is the bug issue. Upon arrival we noticed a lot of tiny ants. Throughout the stay we also saw spiders, bugs and a geico (small lizard) inside the home. I understand the property is in the jungle however I would suggest having the home sprayed by professionals. The hosts left us bug spray , but I feel like I shouldnt have to be doing that throughout my stay while on vacation.

Modern Villa in the Jungle

This modern and spacious villa is ideally located just off the main road, yet set back on a private lane that offers peace and privacy. Although it’s family-run, the property is maintained with the professionalism of a high-end operation.The location is excellent, just minutes from La Fortuna and the stunning La Fortuna Waterfall, making it a perfect base for exploring the area's natural beauty. Being so close to nature, it wasn’t surprising to encounter a few insects, but the owner responded promptly and personally came by to change the bed sheets. That level of care and responsiveness was truly impressive.Overall, this is a beautiful property with thoughtful design, a prime location, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended!

Beautiful home

Impeccably clean, well designed home, lovely location. Comfortable beds, lots of shelves for belongings. The futon has a metal bar across it making it uncomfortable for that guest. It isn't as close to town as described, and there is a long uneven dirt drive to reach the house. It was not a problem because it was dry season. Also, there is a washer but no dryer or drying rack, tough to dry things without a dryer in La Fortuna climate. Overall, all things considered, I'd stay again when in the area.

Tati was a great host. Really enjoyed the home, beautiful and tucked away right next to small river. Very safe for kids, nice open home, with lots of room for entertaining and cooking. Lots of nature right out the back door and no close neighbors for excellent privacy. We actually walked out back at night and found all kinds of neat frogs down by the creek (very colorful). Most people pay a lot of money to go on guided tours to find those. Cafe, store, and hiking trails very close by. Close to town and were even able to wash clothes which is a huge plus. Nice hot showers and good AC in all the rooms. Really enjoyed the stay and would happily go back. One note, do make sure you have decent vehicle clearance. The road in, is a couple hundred yards, and while drivable with a car (we did) would be best with an SUV or truck. Thanks for a great stay! You have a very nice place.
