Super location and quiet room with real Japanese style bed on floor. Practical for trips into town or further since bus stops are right beside the building. Locally within walking distance there are ramen restaurants also temples and the Philosophers path. Suited me perfectly as I don't spend much time in hotel I like to be out taking photos. If I visit Kyoto again I would love to stay here again.

This is a very nice and clean accommodation! I stayed just one person for 3 nights. Owner is friendly, helpful, and kind! Close to major bus routes. Shower and bathroom were clean and easily accessible. Great guest house, i enjoyed my stay!

This was my second stay in one year and I chose it because of its proximity to The Philosophers Walk as well as being located in a residential community, though quite close to a major temple as well as quieter and lovely ones. There are only 4 rooms; this is a typical lodging house - shared bath and kitchen. Proprietor Nakamoto is very helpful !!!

Overall, this property was nice. It's a more authentic Japanese experience, not much amenities in the room. You sleep on the floor on futons.

最寄りの2ヶ所のバス停から近く、館内はとても清潔で お風呂のお湯も毎回抜いては自分達で入れ直すようにされていて文句の付けようがありませんでした。左大文字焼の送り火を見るのも歩いてすぐの所に絶景のポイントがあり、地元の方々で賑わっていました。近所に24時間のスーパーあり、薬局あり、オーナー様もとても親切で聞けば色々と教えて下さり常宿にしたいところでした。またお邪魔させて頂きます
