The Ava Sea Krabi Resort was superb. The staff are so kind and helpful. The location is premium and close to all the restaurants, bars and the beach. There is no road noise from our room which was great for being so close. You can get a tuk tuk easily to places like landmark markets and the Muay Thai ring only 8 mins away. We stayed in the penthouse which was incredible. The room is huge and very spacious. The view is gorgeous from our personal balconies. I would’ve liked there to be some more security with the outdoor patio having an access door to the penthouse, this would make the property 100%. The breakfast was fine. Fresh thai omelettes were great and a good variety of hot and cold food. The pool is nice but can be a bit of a wind trap when it’s windy. Overall this hotel is a 9/10 for me. I loved it here. It also has an in house spa with lots of services. Great hotel, amazing staff and wonderful location.

The Staff are so kind and show what true customer service is. I also would like to send a special Thank you to Rose the day trip organiser, she is fantastic at her job. The location hotel is perfect a 5 min walk if that from the beach and easy access to nearby bars.The pool is also a nice size and breakfest has a nice selection.

The hotel is very nice location and it's only take 5 min walking to Ao Nang beach, the first day when we check in the room had no hot water to shower, but it got fix very quickly, also the room that we stay has a lot of mosquitos, my friend got a lot of bits on his legs

My stay at the Ava Sea Resort was great. I had a room on the 5th floor. The view was unbelievable. The staff were pleasant to deal with. Excursions were easy to book. It was close to the beach and all the amenities were close by. I would definitely stay here again.

Not for light sleepers but great otherwise!

I really loved this hotel. The staff at check in were efficient. A man carried my luggage to my room. Everyone smiley and friendly! The location was so good!!! Walkable to the beach, the night market (about 30 mins walk, really recommend going). Only bad side was SO much noise from outside (until about 1am) so I couldn’t sleep well - however my room was facing the road & I am a light sleeper anyway.

Wonderful location! Staff is amazing and kind.

We had an extended stay here of 12 nights and really enjoyed it!! We got the pool access room and I enjoyed having that amenity. We got to know the staff, they’re very kind if you are! They strive to provide a great guest experience! Be kind and patient with them, it’s a great team! Our room was cleaned and well kept. Housekeeping did an amazing job, daily. The location is perfect. You can walk to anything, taxi service right outside. Laundry, and currency exchange next door. All tours will also pick up and drop off here for free. I enjoyed coffee and the egg bar in the mornings.

Two night stay in Ao Nang.

This was only a 2 night stay before staying with my new Thai family. Checkin was quick and efficient. The receptionist was polite and informative. The hotel was very clean together with my room. Internet was strong and consistent. The hotel has a small pool area and a small gym. Only negative thing was my room faced onto the main road. The sound of mopeds travelling under harsh acceleration woke me up a few times but this is totally outside the control of the hotel. Otherwise a very enjoyable two days.

Room was clean. Staff were helpful. Location is great and everything is walkable. Lots of dining and shopping options. We stayed in a direct pool access room and would definitely recommend. Housekeeping would only give about a quarter roll of toilet paper at a time. The bathroom has VERY dim lighting. Overall the bathroom is definitely aged and weathered. The climate control really only had two options for temp. Any setting at 20 Celsius (68 degrees F) or higher resulted in a stuffy and hot room around 78 degrees F. If we moved the thermostat dial just one degree to 19 Celsius, the room turned into a freezer. My guess is the room temp was then around 62-64 degrees F. I run hot, so not a problem for me personally. Just a warning for those that like moderate or warmer temps. There wasn’t such a setting after fiddling with it for 5 days. We wouldn’t avoid this place if we came again, but would probably consider other properties with pool access rooms first.
