Great place and personal friendly service.
Super place away from the noise but still very convenient for restaurants etc. Very comfortable beds compared to elsewhere we have stayed in SE Asia. Travelling 5 weeks so far and this is the best hotel yet, cant recommend it enough. The only thing to note is that the rooms are not suitable for people with mobility problems as the stairs to the mezzanine bedroom are steep.

Modern, boutique property off the beaten track
Aonang Lodge is a unique property, almost like a bed and breakfast, at the end of a dirt side-street. It is small (7 units) and modern design. The units have living space below and AC cooled loft bedrooms (steep steps). The owners are friendly and helpful (the man is from the UK; the woman is Thai). If you are looking to be in/near the action, this is not the spot. If, however, you are looking for a peaceful spot to relax and escape the noise, this is a wonderful spot.
