    Welcome to Poipu Sands 437! This top floor ocean view condo is spacious, updated and comfortable, with a 300+ sq ft lanai overlooking the cliffs of Shipwreck Beach, perfect for turtle, dolphin and whale watching (in season). There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and a bonus lanai with gorgeous mountain views. The condo is nicely furnished and fully stocked to make your vacation a breeze. Poipu Sands is located on a large property with a pool, a tennis court, walking paths and lots of grassy lawn and beautiful landscaping. It is right next door to the Grand Hyatt and its restaurants and spa, Shipwreck Beach and Poipu Bay Golf Course, and only a short walk to Brennecke Beach and the famous Poipu Beach (frequented by sea turtles and monk seals) or a quick drive to several other beaches and many top notch restaurants.

    We are excited for our guests to enjoy our new furniture, decor and air conditioners in both bedrooms!

    Note that this is on the third floor with no elevator, but it’s definitely worth the extra steps if you are up for it!

The place was perfect! Exactly as advertised. We were a family of 4 with 2 high school aged daughters and all of us loved the place. The patio overlooking the water was a great way to end every night. The hosts were very responsive prior to our stay which put us at ease. Will absolutely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would come back. Appreciated AC in the bedrooms that helped us sleep, but it was so pleasant to let the breeze blow through the living area during the day. The lanai/balcony is sheltered from the trade winds so we could sit outside at all hours even during the brief rains. Thankful that the hosts provided snorkels, chairs, cooler, Brita filter pitcher, well-equipped kitchen - we hate the eco-waste of having to buy a bunch of stuff at the start of a vacay then leave it behind. We walked to local beaches drove to east north shores. Parking right in front of condo. If you're planning to cook to save money, recommend planning meals ahead of time buying groceries in Lihue - the local markets are either very expensive or not well stocked. Also recommend eating out in Old Town Koloa and and locally run places instead of the nearby mall or hotels - food just as good and not as overpriced. Snorkeling at Poipu was kind of a bust due to the crowds (in July) - we had better results at Anini Beach on the north shore.

We had a wonderful time in Kauai. This condo was exactly as described. It was furnished with everything we needed. We appreciated all of the little touches like phone chargers in the rooms and all of the beach gear. The hosts responded immediately when we had questions. We highly recommend this condo!

The owners have everything you need to enjoy your time at this beautiful location. All the toys necessary for the beach, including umbrellas, chairs, boogie, board, and snorkeling gear.

Perfect Stay

This is a really comfortable place. Location is awesome, easy walk to the beach. The pool is a really nice temperature. We used the grill just in front of the unit a couple times and it was great.

Awesome Hawaii vacay

We stayed at the property for the first time. It was clean, well stocked with all the necessities and had easy access to the beach. The check in process was seem less. Location superb. I highly recommended it.

Loved the location! So peaceful and the grounds are beautiful! Short walk to the Hyatt and Shipwreck beach. Also a beautiful trail along the ocean just steps away from the condo. Owners were very responsive and helpful! And the breeze from the ocean was wonderful and made the condo very comfortable.

Relaxing & wonderful vacation

Poipu Sands condo is just lovely with beautiful grounds and fabulous pool. We loved the location so close to the beach and walking trails, and loved the grilling area and the condo's large patio where we relaxed and watched the turtles surfing in the waves. We highly recommend this condo and the hosts were so helpful and have thought of everything!
