Know before you book: This is both a hostel and a hotel geared towards young singles with a focus on the social aspect. I stayed in a private room. Very spacious, clean, and a decent view of the pool and ocean. Convenient access to the beach, shopping, and dining. On site bar and restaurant - which can be a bit loud at night, but again, Lub d is focused on the social aspect.

Great place to hang out

There are organized activities everyday for those who want it, and there is a social atmosphere, but's its also very chill and quiet. Great beach access with a beach nightclub not far away.

As a solo traveller I found this hostel social, clean and a great location that isn’t loud. I met soo many people that made my trip unforgettable. Huge shout out to Ollie for hosting the best pub crawl I’ve ever been on and keeping the party going each night with different games every night

Fabulous resort , I recently spent a month there . Unfortunately, the front deck was off limits because of repairs required . Place was always clean, staff always had a smile on their face and location was perfect . I will be back next year for longer ☀️☀️😀😎😎☀️☀️

Hostel was good, kept clean. Decent breakfast for the price. They have loungers on the beach but note they play loud music in the afternoon, so do the beach clubs either side so you hear 2 loud songs being played at the same time all afternoon if you are on the beach- it got a bit jarring. Perhaps others would enjoy that atmosphere. Overall great value.

Well-maintained property with lots of facilities, a big pool and right on Chaweng beach. Rooms are nice and washrooms clean. The staff is helpful but a lot of them know little or no English, which makes communication difficult since most guests are foreigners!

Loved my stay at lub d, felt more like a hotel rather then a hostel. Dont have anything negative to say about it, the only thing that would have been great would be to have proper air con in the shared showers/toilets.

I had a room with a balcony facing a construction site that was doing loud work from 06:00-22:00. Really messed with my sleep. Also I ordered a transfer and once I arrived at the airport the ride was not to be seen anywhere. I looked everywhere for over 25 minutes and finally took a regular taxi. Once I arrived at the hotel I still had to pay for the transfer.
