When we arrived, a few curious monkeys were waiting in our garden to welcome us — a sign of the nature and charm that defines this place. The next morning, as I set out for an early walk, I was lucky enough to join a large family of about thirty monkeys on the first leg of my hike. They moved calmly and peacefully through the forest, completely at ease with my quiet presence. It was a magical and truly unique experience. "Solo traveller, and had a perfect stay here. Quiet and outside of the main Sidemen area, so very quiet and relaxing. Pool and resturant was as expected, and rooms were comfortable. A BIG highlight was the staff, especially the concierge Adit who always made me feel comfortable and was sure to check in with me to make sure i was enjoying myself (not sure if many solo travellers come here). Its a new hotel, so a real hidden gem. Bikes for rent available, spa facilities on site, but walkable to plenty of warung, silver classes, spa/massage etc also."
