「Super hosts who met us on arrival to show us around and answered any questions immediately such as places to eat and things to do. They also rustled up some decaf coffee for us. Everything was well stocked and it was very cozy and comfy. It is very comforting that the bath has grab bars and a rubber mat. 「This place was a special retreat from all the commercialization of the Kitty Hawk area. It is located in and near one of the few original maritime forests on the island. You could hear all the frogs and crickets singing at night. Each room has a balcony with porch swing, overlooks the water, and has a spectacular sunset view. We would definitely stay here again!!」

「This place is awesome. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but this is a great place to stay. Very clean inside and the staff is great. Rates are great, especially in October which is when I go. The parking lot could be difficult if you're driving something big like an Expedition, but it's no problem for my car. I'm hesitant to review because I don't want it to be sold out next year! 」
