Top Kitazawa River Trail Hotel Reviews

The Millennials Shibuya

10/10 Excellent

"I love that it is so quiet! You would think it would be noisy since it’s not actual rooms with walls separating the guests but it was so quiet. Also staff was super sweet and helpful! My flight got delayed so they allowed me to check in the next day at 3 AM. I still had a reservation but check-in ends at midnight so the fact that they let me do that is amazing. Totally recommend!!"

Shibuya Tokyu REI Hotel

8/10 Good

"Very central location but be warned this is a very busy area. Overall, I do have to say the hotel was spendy in comparison to some of the other hotels we stayed at. But I guess you are paying for location.. My recomendation, stay further out, and take a subway or train ride into this area. If being in the heart of the busy chaotic city, then this is the place to stay."

sequence MIYASHITA PARK

8/10 Good

"Great location, decent sized room, good breakfast, odd entry to the hotel. Our room had an amazing 180 degree view of the city but was awkwardly shaped (kinda like a triangle) which made it a bit challenging to store our luggage. The location was excellent as it was an easy walk to many wonderful locations. The only negative was that there was no place for car to pull up to drop us off so they had to block traffic while we exited the car and took out our luggage. We then needed to walk to a non-descript elevator in order to take it to the lobby floor. This was challenging with the large amount of luggage we were carrying (one month vacation across Japan and South Korea). I would still recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with just a couple of suitcases."

Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya

8/10 Good

"Had a pleasant stay here. The location is pretty much unbeatable. Don’t think you could get any closer to the train station. The layout and design of the rooms is where this hotel really shines. It is very thoughtfully designed so there is a LOT of storage and places to put your suitcases. My husband and I were both able to fully unpack all our clothes for our 9 day stay and put away our three suitcases so they weren’t in the way. The laundry machine in the room is super helpful and having a large fridge and freezer was also very nice especially for all the 7-11 trips. Two complaints: 1. It can be quite noisy from construction nearby and from noises from other rooms. There was a lot of general creaking noises that was disruptive. 2. The bed is not the most comfortable and the sheets were quite scratchy and rough. By the end of our stay, my skin was quite irritated."
