Guests who stayed there before us have not checked out when we arrived, got very confused since the owner cannot be contacted via different channels, had to involve Vrbo support. Was told to use the bedroom on 3rd floor, which is nothing like the pictures in the listing. Got in touch with owner later on and everything got straightened out."

"Really enjoyed our time here. Was a nice sanctuary away from the experiences Tokyo had to offer. We enjoyed the mid-century aesthetic of the house, the bedrooms are all generous sizes (compared to what the rest of Tokyo has to offer), and the lounge is a great spot to unwind after a long day. We really enjoyed the location too. Asagaya felt more like a residential area, but there are plenty of great eateries, coffee shops, and bars to enjoy in the area. "We booked a stay for three days at this wonderful home. The host was kind enough to work with us on the checkout times due to come complicated travel issues with our flight and cruise.The home was clean and in a good neighborhood. We were in walking distance of the Ikebukuro entertainment district and the subway station. It was a great way to travel throughout Tokyo and then return to comfortable quiet lodging.We're grateful for the great air conditioning this time of year in Japan!Traveling...
