「We have stayed there before and no problems The food is excellent and plenty of choice At first the bed was dirty but it was cleaned and changed straight away and the lovely lady who saw to it couldn't be more apologetic The swimming pool was very crowded and In my opinion should be governed as there were no staff around The grounds are really nice and pleasant The bar area and separate seating areas and very good and we sat and watched the cup final」

「The grounds and hotel are spectacular looking, and the room spacious and well appointed with a comfy bed. The quality of the food was good and the staff in the main restaurant were friendly and professional. However, the hotel was very busy when we stayed and felt understaffed for the number of guests. The bar and some of the outside seating areas were untidy, with bits of food and old cups, glasses etc left lying around (including a glass left right outside our room). Getting served at the bar...

「Lovely situation - large room that was clean. However walking in it felt quite down at heel, a bit like a scruffy airport waiting area. We ate in the restaurant on arrival - the food was edible. However, the staff at reception and in the restaurant were welcoming and attentive.」
